The Forróçacana appeared in-may 1997, in Rio de Janeiro, within the neighborhood scene referred to as “university forró,” as were called the groups from your ’90s formed by middle-class members from the Southeastern states, towards the rootsy forró sets of the Northeast made up of members from the working class.
