Exebelle & the Rusted Cavalcade

Acquiring inspiration from Virginia’s folk custom aswell as the rural country-rock of Ryan Adams, the Music group, and Neil Young, songwriters Philip Heesen and C.E. Wright created Exebelle & the Rusted Cavalcade in Sept 2007. Kerry Hutcherson became a member of the duo immediately after, having previously slice his tooth with the neighborhood group Copper Sails, while bassist Ryan Owenby enlisted following the disintegration of his personal Richmond-based band, FILM Demise. The lineup continued to be intact for the neighborhood release from the Skeletor Classes in 2008; soon thereafter, though, Wright came back to his indigenous Utah. Using their primary frontman gone, the rest of the members started incorporating dense harmonies and mixed instrumentation to their previously stripped-down music. The Antipoison Creek Periods displayed the brand new sound in ’09 2009, with each member adding lead vocals to at least among the EP’s four monitors, as well as the countrified C.A.F. implemented a couple of months afterwards. Exebelle covered up the entire year by placing the finishing details on Vivement l’Automne!, which made an appearance in early 2010 and highlighted percussion from newcomer Mike Trimble. Trimble still left the group after Vivement’s discharge, only to go back to the lineup twelve months afterwards. Meanwhile, Virginia indigenous Ben Willson became a member of the group on piano and vocals, producing his Exebelle debut on 2011’s V.
