Eric Malmberg

An idiosyncratic indie pop keyboardist whose trippy, reverb-laced Hammond organ-dominated compositions drew evaluations to the task of Hansson & Karlsson, Eric Malmberg gained reputation in the Swedish indie picture of the first 2000s both like a single artist and as you half from the instrumental indie pop duo Sagor & Swing. He released his 1st recording, Teacher Huberts Underbara Uppfinning, in 1995 and continued release a two even more albums during his stint in Sagor & Golf swing: 2000’s Sju Melodier Och Ett Enda Långt Ljud and 2002’s En Skattkista Längst Nere På Botten Av Ett Stort Hav. Following a 2004 breakup from the duo, Malmberg released his 4th single recording, 2005’s Den Gåtfulla Människan (The Enigmatic Human being), an idea recording targeted at simulating a trip into the human being psyche. Immediately after the recording arrived, Malmberg’s intense romantic relationship to his music — a romantic relationship that he’d feature, at least partly, for an autistic range disorder — was explored in the Swedish documentary Innovative Illness. Malmberg’s 5th full-length recording, Verklighet & Defeat, premiered in 2007.
