Eliso Virsaladze might not have name acknowledgement of several of her key pad contemporaries, but she actually is being among the most extremely respected performers of her era, specifically among fellow pianists, both recent and present. In 1989 Virsaladze was presented with the prestigious name of People’s Musician from the U.S.S.R. In 1995 Virsaladze became a member of the faculty on the Hochschule für Musik und Movie theater in Munich, a posture she still retains along with her Moscow post. In the brand new century, Virsaladze continued to be energetic on all fronts. Her 2003 appearance on the 300th wedding anniversary Gala Concert in St. Petersburg, where she provided a scorching functionality from the Ravel Concerto for the Remaining Hand, was released with an acclaimed EuroArts Dvd and blu-ray in 2004. Virsaladze frequently acts as a juror at essential international piano contests. Included in this was the exclusive 2010 Queen Elizabeth Competition in Brussels.
