Electric Eel Surprise is really a Japanese rock trio that powerfully combines traditional rock, metallic, and punk influences using a gritty garage rock delivery. Aki Morimoto (vocals/electric guitar) and Kazuto Maekawa (bass) had been first brought jointly over a shared obsession with Dark Sabbath whilst in college in Osaka.
