Un Tigrillo Palma is a local Mexican musician from Sinaloa who specializes in corridos. Blessed Efrén Aguilar in Un Baral, Guasave, Sinaloa, he have scored his first main strike using the narcocorrido “Los Chiquinarcos” in 2006. Originally highlighted on the record Pistiando con la Plebada (2006), the melody was reissued by Univision on several following compilation albums, included in this the best-of series Joyas de Coleccion (2007) and Los Corridos Favoritos del Jefe (2008). Various other Un Tigrillo Palma albums released by Univision consist of Por las Calles Enlodadas (2007), which features the local Mexican strike single “Un 80”; Grandes Corridos de La Sierra (2007), which features the follow-up strike “Un 24” as well as the strike “Un Bazucazo”; and En Vivo Desde Hermosillo, Sonora (2008), a Compact disc/DVD which includes in-concert video aswell as sound.
