Dumitru Capoianu

Capoianu studied in the Bucharest Conservatory. Early in his profession, he worked like a musical movie director at film studios in Bucharest and later on as sound controller for Romanian tv and radio. He provides constructed for film since 1957 and his credits consist of Short Background (1957) and Techniques to the Moon (1963). He in addition has constructed for orchestra and chamber groupings, creating works within an expressive, folk melody style.
