Before launching a solo career because the protégé of Jack port Johnson, Donavon Frankenreiter began his professional life like a surfer. Created in Southern California on Dec 10, 1972, he got a sponsorship with Billabong as a teenager and shifted to Hawaii when he was 14. There, he rented a house through the parents of Jack port Johnson, a fellow surfer with an untapped musical skill. Both became fast close friends, learning guitar collectively and going out between journeys to the seaside.
