Substitute pop/rock quintet Dig shaped in LA in early 1991, with vocalist/guitarist Scott Hackwith (a producer who worked for the Ramones), guitarist Dix Denney (ex-Weirdos and Thelonious Monster), guitarist Jon Morris, bassist Phil Friedmann, and drummer Matt Tecu. After attaining a pursuing around the region and launching the Runt EP in 1992, the group agreed upon to Radioactive/MCA past due that season and released their self-titled debut record in 1993. The one “Believe” spent nearly 90 days in MTV’s Hype Bin, and prompted the discharge of Dig’s second record, Defenders from the Universe, in middle-1996. REAL LIFE implemented in early 1999.
