Eddie De Garmo & Dana Essential are Memphis-reared acoustic guitar rockers who started with the world music group in early 1972. Later on they offered it up to generate the Christian rock and roll group known as the Christian Music group, changing the name to DeGarmo & Important later within the decade. These were affected by ZZ Best, Jimi Hendrix, ELP, among others.
