The DeJohn Sisters didn’t know it at that time, however they inspired the Bonnie Sisters (“Cry Baby”) to get a recording career. After hearing the DeJohns’ “FORGET ABOUT” on the air, the music insect struck the Bonnies. On Feb 12, 1955, the DeJohn Sisters’ “(My Baby Don’t Like Me) FORGET ABOUT” soared to the quantity six position for the Billboard Pop 100 graph. Dux and Julie DeGiovanni had written the music with sibling Leo; the Giovannis transformed their surname to DeJohn for professional factors. Subsequent releases from the DeJohns flopped, failing woefully to split the pop Best 40.
