Impact

Dutch rock band Impact contains vocalist Thierry Plisson, guitarist Simon Buik, bassist Hans Rappard, and drummer Rob Struik, and documented two non-descript albums in 1982’s By no means Too Adolescent to Rock and roll and 1987’s The Flag. The 1st was inspired from the rawness of the brand new Wave of English Heavy Metal, as the second discovered the group — right now offering guitarist Peter Magnee, bassist Rob Schoof, and drummer Ed Warby (later on of Ayreon) — even more refined and leaning toward the hard rock and roll mainstream, but neither experienced much of a direct effect beyond underground rock circles.
