Daydream Nation

Ottawa, Canada’s Daydream Country features Pat Vaz (electric guitar/vocals) and Hunter Crowley (drums). Naming themselves after Sonic Youth’s epic 1988 discharge, Daydream Country, the duo provides more in keeping with the Cathedral, Ride, as well as the Jesus and Mary String compared to the experimental indie rock and roll sound of Thurston Moore and business. Crowley got his begin using the Brian Jonestown Massacre as well as the Warlocks before signing up for Vaz because of their own sort of neo-shoegazer combine in the first 2000s. Their self-titled debut record premiered in Oct 2003 in the Ohio imprint Elephant Rock. Brent Rademaker (Beachwood Sparks, the Tyde) and Dave Koenig (Brian Jonestown Massacre) became a member of Daydream Country for the documenting of the sophomore work, Bella Vendetta, which found its way to fall 2004.
