Cynara

Sister from the performers Cyva, Cybele, and Cylene (from the Quarteto em Cy), Cynara has already established a noted single profession in parallel with this from the Quarteto. She analyzed in Salvador until 1962. In those days she was an amateur celebrity and performed in the Rádio Sociedade da Bahia. In 1959 she created an novice duo with her sister Cylene, earning first place inside a competition at Television Itapuã (Salvador, Bahia). In 1963 Cynara relocated to Rio de Janeiro with her sisters (after Cyva experienced paved just how). In 1967 Cynara remaining the group and created with Cybele the duo Cynara e Cybele, which dissolved in 1968. In 1969 Cynara documented her single LP Pronta Pra Consumo. For the reason that same 12 months she participated in the Juiz de Fora Track Event (Minas Gerais), earning first place using the track “Casaco Marrom” (Renato Corrêa/Danilo Caymmi/Gutemberg Guarabyra), which became a vintage. From 1972 to 1984 Cynara once again became a member of the Quarteto em Cy. From 1984 to 1987 the Quarteto em Cy became inactive, and throughout that period Cynara wrote the vocal plans and sang in the group Chovendo na Roseira, focused on Tom Jobim’s compositions, with Bia Paes Leme, Soraya Monte Nunes, and Luciana Medeiros. Cynara also worked well as a maker for TV special offers during that period. In 1987 the Quarteto became energetic again and, within the next 12 months, Cynara co-produced an unbiased LP by Luís Armando Queiroz. Invited by Arthur Moreira Lima, from 1987 to 1990, Cynara created the weekly displays of the task Sexta Básica. From 1990 to 1993 she created and offered the daily display of nationwide and worldwide instrumental music Circuito Instrumental, broadcast by Rádio MEC. She also published a number of the vocal plans for the Quarteto em Cy, as well as for the MPB-4 she published the vocal plans for his or her CDs Bate-Boca and Somos Todos Iguais.
