b. Uziah Thompson, 1 August 1936, Mannings Support, Jamaica, Western world Indies. The Thompson family members got relocated to Kingston by the first 50s as well as the youthful Uziah was motivated by Coxsone Dodd’s audio system. Thompson continuing to operate in session to reggae’s digital age group when the apparent economics practically eradicated the necessity for live music artists overnight. Thompson is currently regarded as an elder statesman from the market having been finally recognized for his contribution in the first ska hits nearly 30 years after documenting them.
