Anubis Rising

Inspired with the progressive post-hardcore trance-metal of Neurosis and Isis, Sacha Dunable (guitar/vocals), Dean Workman (guitar), Jordan Ruble (bass/vocals), and Alex Bytnar (drums) created Anubis Increasing in LA, CA, in 1999, heading to record many demos, EPs, and a divided album with colleagues Uphill Fight before splitting up in 2004. At that time Ruble have been changed by Matt Snell, as well as the band’s unsatisfactory end was just assuaged somewhat from the launch of 2005’s posthumous anthology, Funerary Preamble, using the musicians shifting to new tasks like Mange and Intronaut.
