Berlin maker Andy Mellwig is most likely best known while the non-Thomas Koner fifty percent of dub experimentalists Porter Ricks, a flagship take action of the String Reaction camp through the mid- to past due ’90s. Mellwig also created a collaboration with Thomas Koner in the ’90s as Porter Ricks; the duo released several important singles on String Reaction (ultimately put together as Biokinetics) and revamped their audio for several post-Chain Response singles on Drive Inc. which were ultimately compiled being a self-titled disk. (Mellwig and Koner also installed with Techno Pet for 1999’s Symbiotics.) An individual by Mellwig as Constant Mode was released in 1997 by String Response; the alias popped up once again during 1999 as he started issuing his materials through Klang. Using the audio of latter time Porter Ricks being a base (that was significantly taken off the dub leanings of their previously produces), Mellwig’s split, up-tempo material demonstrated inspiration from famous brands Suicide and Krautrock without actually straight referencing either. 2001 noticed the problem of Disinformation Style on Klang, which put together his initial singles for the label.
