Consumed

Vocalist/guitarist Steve Ford, his guitar-playing sibling Mike, bassist Baz Barrett, and drummer Chris Billam formed Consumed in 1994 in the mining community of Nottinghamshire, Britain — for the advantage of Sherwood Forest. Their blistering design of punk rock and roll gained them an area for the skate/browse/snowboard event circuit; these were presented in the 1997 and 1998 Newquay Surf Celebrations, the 1995 and 1996 U.K. Snowboard Celebrations, as well as the Nottingham Skate Event in 1997. The music group also devote its period touring the English Isles with NOFX, Snuff, Shelter, and additional hardcore rings. In 1998, the people of Snuff brought a Consumed demonstration tape to the people at Extra fat Wreck Chords in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA; the music group was almost instantly signed and Body fat Wreck Chords released its debut recording, the six-song Breakfast time at Pappa’s, later on that yr. In 1999, Extra fat Wreck Chords adopted up with Consumed’s 1st full-length release, Strike for Six. The music group resurfaced briefly in March 2003 with Pistols at Dawn on BYO, but from the year’s end, Consumed got known as it quits.
