Civil Tones

Organ-based quartet the Civil Tones make ’50s and ’60s-influenced groove music that borrows liberally from such iconic groups as Booker T. & the MG’s, the Projects, yet others. Featuring the abilities of Patti Loth (vocals), Robin Allen (electric guitar), Dave Hilditch (bass), John Holt (key pad), and John Kosla (drums), the Civil Shades have released a small number of albums on Pravda, including Rotisserie Twist in 1996, Spirit Bucket in 1998, and Vodka and Peroxide in 2003.
