Christopher Dean Band

Led by former Big Jack port Johnson guitarist/vocalist Christopher Dean, the Christopher Dean Strap has taken the seems of Chicago, Tx, and Delta blues towards the central NJ region. Released in 2001, debut recording Dogged ‘n Powered showcases the band’s varied method of the blues. Created in Edison, NJ, Dean was trained to play acoustic guitar by his old brother, bass participant David Foti. Graduating from senior high school in 1992, Dean continued to review an eclectic selection of acoustic guitar designs, including jazz, folk, nation, pop, as well as the blues. After leading his very own trio for quite some time, he became a member of Mississippi-born Johnson’s music group, the Oilers, along with Foti. After four years using the group, they still left to create the Christopher Dean Music group.
