A fantastic Canadian jazz quartet made up of Rob Frayne about tenor and soprano, bassist John Geggie, drummer Jean Martin, and singer Tena Palmer (whose tone of voice is effectively integrated within the group’s ensemble), the group (which includes recorded many CDs for Unity) mainly plays originals simply by Frayne, Geggie, and Palmer. Their spontaneous shows are adventurous, but additionally frequently melodic and available.
