Chasing Victory

Merging emo, steel, and hard rock and roll, Chasing Victory certainly are a group from Camilla, GA, who’ve embraced a robust, no-quarter sound expressing a positive email. Chasing Victory had been produced in 2001 by vocalist Adam Harrell, drummer Jeremy Lowery, and guitarist Michael Lamb while Harrell was still students in senior high school. Starting out being a cover music group beneath the name Bailey Drive, the bandmembers started writing original materials and their first EP, A NOT Tragic Cover-Up, premiered in 2004. They agreed upon a contract using the 3rd party Mono Vs Stereo system Information, and in 2005 they released their initial full-length record, I Contact This Abandonment, shortly after guitarist Chris Cargile changed Jason Lowery within the group’s electric guitar section and Chris Crutchfield became the band’s brand-new bassist. Chasing Success toured extensively to get the album, so when they came back to their studio room because of their second record, 2007’s Fiends, the band’s audio would reveal a dazzling advancement. While Harrell shown a severe, screamo-centric vocal design on I Contact This Abandonment, he embraced a far more melodic audio (inspired by Jeff Buckley) for the periods for Fiends, as well as the group’s melodic buildings more obviously recalled traditional hard rock and roll while still preserving an alternative advantage.
