Charming

The indie pop music group Charming was formed in nov 1994 by School of Virginia anatomist learners Ravi Krishnaswami (electric guitar/music) and Dave Sherwin (drums); by adding vocalist Shana Lie-Nelson, guitarist Jamie Perez and bassist Chris Garvey, the group started getting a fervent regional following, eventually documenting the Ritual EP on Krishnaswami’s four-track machine. An extended hiatus followed, where period both Lie-Nelson and Perez give up the music group; with brand-new vocalist Nicole Stoops, Alluring recorded their exceptional 1997 debut LP Large for the Twee Kitten label, swapping bassist John Ciccone for Garvey a short while later.
