Sweden’s Carnage had been spawned with the same little, close-knit picture which gave delivery to Entombed in the late ’80s. Fueled with the flourishing death steel underground tape trading network, the group infused the lessons of American serves, like Loss of life and Morbid Angel, using the noises of English grind primary exponents, like Napalm Loss of life and Carcass, to make a somewhat unique market all their personal. Its regular membership in continuous flux, the band’s early lineup included vocalist/bassist Johan Liiva Axelsson, guitarist Michael Amott, guitarist/bassist Johnny Dordevic, and drummer Jeppe Larsson. After two demos that have been broadly distributed in cassette type, the group documented their only real record, 1990’s Dark Recollections with fresh users, vocalist Matt Karki, guitarist David Blomqvist, and drummer Fred Estby. Such continuous musician turnover demonstrated a great deal to deal with, nevertheless, and the music group disintegrated even prior to the album’s launch. Amott shifted to greater popularity with an extended stint in Carcass, and later on Arch Foe and Religious Beggars. Dordevic briefly became a member of Entombed as business lead vocalist, & most of the rest of the music group members created Dismember.
