Canon Blue

Cannon Blue is primarily Nashville, Tennessee’s Daniel Wayne, whose indie-tronic tracks result from fascination with electronic acts Planks of Canada and Autechre aswell as songwriters Serge Gainsbourg and Nick Drake. His Colonies LP noticed a Sept 2007 launch in European countries through Denmark label Rumraket. The record was combined by Chris Taylor of Grizzly Carry and perfected by noted digital designer Cristian Vogel. While on tour in European countries, James began focus on his following album, documenting between displays and dealing with the Amiina string quartet to increase his audio into even more orchestral territories. The effect was the lush and eclectic 2011 recording, Rumspringa, that was released by Short lived Residence.
