Blue Roses

Blue Roses (aka Yorkshire singer/songwriter Laura Groves) began composing songs at age 17. Groves is definitely skillful on both acoustic guitar and piano, and her liquid vocals, dreamlike imagery, and serpentine melodies possess drawn evaluations to everyone from venerated songstresses Joni Mitchell and Kate Bush to extremely lauded contemporaries like Joanna Newsom and Bat for Lashes.
