Originally getting started like a three-piece, guitarist Joe Gosney, drummer Liam Kearley, and bassist Andrew Gosden had currently began to create waves inside the music scene mainly because the post-rock trio Shrine. The addition of fellow Brighton, U.K.-centered vocalist Will Gardner gave the band the excess edge that that they had been seeking. With three EPs currently under their belt — 2012’s Carpeting Worms, 2013’s Kursk, and 2014’s Nearer to sunlight — as Shrine, the music group made a decision to adopt the far-less-commonplace moniker Dark Peaks. Keeping their mixture of mathematics and post-rock, fitted somewhere within Pelican and Mars Volta, the group began to garner the interest of major brands. Gaining considerable airplay on BBC Radio 1 from famous brands Zane Lowe, the quartet authorized a cope with Sony in mid-2015 and go about documenting their debut recording in the Middlefarm Studios in Devon with Tag Roberts. The producing Statues premiered at the start of 2016, preceded from the singles “Saviour” and “Cup Constructed Castles.”
