The noise pop group Beverly blend ’80s indie pop (Store Assistants) and ’90s alternative (the Breeders) right into a catchy, happy blend that sounds quite definitely in the home in the 2010s. In the beginning offering indie icon Frankie Rose on drums and vocals and vocalist/guitarist Drew Citron, the group created during Rose’s past due-2013 tour. Produced and performed by Citron and Rosenthal, the recording added dreamy Twin Peaks-inspired ballads and a lighter general contact. The Blue Swell premiered by Kanine in-may of 2016.
