Arc Music

Section of a mid-70s picture in Long Isle, NJ, USA, that also included Network and Ram memory Jam, Arc formed in 1975, producing 1 recording for CBS Information offshoot Lifesong 3 years later. Steve Szczesniak (drums), Bob Savene (vocals, bass), Wayne George (keyboards) and Ed Kosowski (acoustic guitar) recorded an assortment of their own tunes and five songs written to them by John Palumbo (ex-Crack The Sky). Mixing somewhat pompous rock and roll with affects as varied as disco and jazz-funk, put into 10cc -design pop sensibilities, ARC produced an underrated and exciting album inside a field and period where sterile repetition of aged ideas was occasionally the norm.
