Vocalist/songwriter Ann Marita was raised loving country, thanks a lot partly to her rural upbringing — in the Norwegian Mountains — and her parent’s assortment of Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, and Johnny Money records. She started writing music while still an adolescent, eventually landing employment as the business lead vocalist for a global troupe on the northern European cruise liner. The globetrotting musician has lived within a mining city north from the Arctic group, Sweden, and Iowa. After a failed attempt at breaking in to the music sector in Hollywood — she bought right into a creation scam that still left her high and dried out — she still left for Australia driven to start out over.
