The Brooklyn collective Swiss Dot is made up of Jenna Alden (vocals/synthesizer), Erica Sood (synthesizer/vocals/drum machine), and Clara Ellertson (guitar); the trio produces an elegant electro-pop audio derivative of Ladytron, but having a Devo-like spunk. Swiss Dot primarily passed the St. Felix moniker. They performed their 1st gig in the corridor of the Williamsburg mini-mall, and honed their dark, ambient pop for just two . 5 years, massaging eclectic techno beats around Sood and Alden’s smooth, candied vocals and Ellertson’s twisted acoustic guitar function. Their Watched You Misbehave EP found its way to February 2003.
