Andrew Morgan

This guitarist and singer is from the music scene in Muskegon, MI, where he did some independent recording. He shouldn’t be puzzled with other performers with this common name, although there are commonalities. The Andrew Morgan from the brand new Orleans jazz picture recorded inside a band along with his brothers in 1927; the Muskegon Andrew Morgan also performed in a music group with his sibling, keyboardist Thomas Morgan. In both instances the recordings had been ultimately released on compilation units. Muskegon Music, Vol. 1: Yours Truly, C.H. Hackley presented a lot more than 20 regional functions; C.H. Hackley, incidentally, was a Muskegon philanthropist. Talking about which, gleam reference to the traditional tenor Andrew Morgan that will go to the center of philanthropy: the term “pocket.” The Muskegon compilation premiered within the Pocket Information label, as the traditional vocalist is associated with the Pocket Opera organization.
