Amélie-les-Crayons can be an award-winning France vocalist/songwriter and pianist especially popular on her behalf whimsical stage present where the lyrically fantastic people and tales of her music become more active with scenery, outfits, and performing. Amérest, who got the latter section of her name, Les Crayons, from French professional/vocalist André Bourvil, started her performance profession in Lyon, France, across the switch of the hundred years. She produced her documenting debut in 2002 with Le Chant des Coquelicots, a self-produced six-track EP made up of both house and live recordings. A few years afterwards she released her full-length record debut, Et Pourquoi les Crayons? (2004), in the indie label Neômme. To get the record, she toured using a four-piece music group made up of herself (vocals, piano), Michel Caroline (accordion), Laurent Fellot (contrabass), and Heiko Wilhem (piano, clarinet, tuba). The two-hour stage display, which included theatrical scenery, people, costumes, and light, proved especially well-known, so the tour continued from Sept 2004 completely to August 2006, including almost 200 concerts throughout France, Switzerland, Belgium, and Canada. The tour also included shows at the main celebrations Printemps de Bourges and Alors Chante in Montauban. Among the shows from 2005 was filmed for launch on Dvd and blu-ray as Le Tour de la Query (2006). Throughout a break from the street, Amélay spent eight weeks composing, composing, and documenting her second full-length recording, La Porte Plume (2007), using the insight of 12 different music artists. La Porte Plume, which, like its forerunner, is filled up with lyrically amazing character types and tales, was granted the Grand Prix de l’Académie Charles Cros for Greatest Chanson Recording of 2007. Released once again in colaboration with the impartial label Neômme, the recording was Amélie’s best-selling work up to now, peaking at quantity 53 around the French albums graph.
