An Amsterdam-based folk-prog quartet led by songwriter Frank Connection, Alasca’s critically acclaimed 2012 debut album, Actors & Liars, that was made by Alan Branch, peaked at amount 9 in the Dutch graphs the week following its discharge. Sophomore work Prospero implemented in 2015, and demonstrated a varied sound, taking impact from spaghetti westerns, mariachi, and indie rock and roll. The group described its sound as “Western european Country.”
