Aardvarck

Mike Kivits, the person behind Aardvarck, is but one of the respected artists in the Amsterdam-based Delsin label. The producer’s materials largely includes lush, melodic damaged beat with the heat of Detroit techno tightly at heart. Four 12″ produces pass on across 2000 and 2001 (Non Spoken, Ludiek, Re Spoken, and Nozum) established the desk for 2002’s Discover the Cow, a 23-monitor gem of the full-length that vacillates between minute-long interludes and expanded mood parts. Recalling the task of the Dark Pet dog, Sherard Ingram (particularly Urban Tribe’s The Collapse of Contemporary Lifestyle), and Carl Craig (particularly More Music About Meals and Revolutionary Artwork), Discover the Cow — among the first single-artist LPs released on Delsin — set up Kivits being a techno manufacturer worthy of keeping track of.
