Based away of Madison, WI, A.J. Like is definitely a fusion guitarist within an nearly old-fashioned feeling of the term, blending intense Hendrix-influenced rock and roll chops in high energy jazz configurations. After a sabbatical surviving in Montana, Like came back to Madison to record Interplanetary Funk, his debut record having a combo offering Hanah Jon Taylor of Performers for the Advancement of Innovative Music on saxophone. Greatly influenced by Kilometers Davis, Love documented several long studio room classes and edited them straight down for shows. In early 2002, he founded Angel Magic Music, an artist-owned Madison-based record firm. The label quickly agreed upon several serves, including Sunspot, Willie Higgins, Ryan Meisel, and C.J. Schaeffer. Like co-produced many of the releases.
