Sound of Ceres

After releasing three albums and numerous other recordings of dreamlike shoegaze pop with Chocolate Claws between 2009 and 2013, Colorado natives Karen and Ryan Hover split off to create a fresh band in 2014. Sound of Ceres pursued an identical path, though with an increase of electronics and more information on collaborators that included Jacob Graham from the Drums and three people from the Apples in Stereo system (Robert Schneider, John Ferguson, and Ben Phelan), as well as for concert events, Derrick Bozich. The group performed displays throughout 2015, after that in Dec released their 1st recording, a monitor titled “Solar Reflection Anthology, Vol. 6” for Flannelgraph Information. Meanwhile, that they had authorized with Joyful Sound and were placing finishing touches on the debut album. Entitled Nostalgia for Infinity, it had been released in March of 2016.
