Sons of the Sea

Locating two alt-rock heavyweights arriving together, Sons of the ocean can be a collaboration between Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd and producer and multi-instrumentalist Brendan O’Brien. The set had initially fulfilled after O’Brien created a small number of Incubus information, including 2011’s If Not really Right now, When?, and determined it might be interesting to gather to write tracks as a set. The result can be a music group that pairs O’Brien’s award-winning creation with Boyd’s soaring vocals to make a whirlwind of eclectic alt-pop. Sons of the ocean debuted in 2013 with an EP, Compass, before liberating an eponymously entitled album later on that year.
