Sister Crayon

Sacramento, California electronic duo Sister Crayon was made by singer/songwriter Terra Lopez. Originally conceived being a single task, Lopez was ultimately joined by manufacturer Dani Fernandez. The set released two albums (2011’s Bellow and 2013’s Cynic) of beat-focused dark synth that was motivated by trip-hop and ’90s hip-hop. While documenting the 3rd Sister Crayon record, Devoted, in 2015, some tragedies befell Lopez: the fatalities of both her dad and her closest friend. Following the twin loss, the pair made a decision to transformation their name to Rituals of Mine, both in an effort to put themselves to rest, alongside the name they understood in life, aswell concerning brand themselves having a moniker that completely belonged to both ladies.
