Colourslide

Colourslide associates Dean Newman (electric guitar), Joe Palmer (bass), and Steve Julian (drums) had played in various rings in the Gainesville, FL, region before they landed within a combo called Period. The music group trudged on for five years before its business lead singer split. Fortunately, a shared friend place them touching Alex Lawhon, a vocalist out of NEW YORK who became a member of as the music group was changing its name to Colourslide. They documented their debut with Military of Me manufacturer Ted Comerford and released their self-titled record in early 2007. Tv network ESPN grabbed a few tracks to make use of on the NASCAR and MLB insurance, while the melody “WAKE-YOU-UP CALL” gained the grand award in the rock and roll group of 2008’s John Lennon Songwriting Competition.
