Ex – Afrocuba pianist, Ernan Lopez Nussa ushered his Cuban ensemble, Cuatro Espacio in to the contemporary world of digital jazz and fusion in the past due-1990s. Joined up with by drummer Jimmy Branly, guitarist Fernando Calveiro and bassist Omar Hernandez, Nussa developed a number of the Cuba’s most daring music of days gone by decade. A indigenous of Havana, Nussa researched classical piano on the Cuban Institute from the Arts. As an associate of Afrocuba, he documented several albums including two with nuevo cancion (“brand-new tune”) trouvadour, Silvio Rodriguez. Developing Cuatro Espacio with various other people of Afrocuba, he led the music group for just two years before departing to spotlight a solo profession.
