British synthesizer participant Dave Ball was half of Gentle Cell, along with Marc Almond, beginning in Oct 1979. Before that duo split up in Dec 1983, he produced one solo record, In Tight Tempo, after that he did creation and soundtrack function before developing the Grid with Richard Norris.
