Lower 48

The Washington State-based group Decrease 48 plays a stomping make of ironic roots rock. The group, comprising Eric Olson (guitars, vocals), Mike Nelson (drums), and Scott Lockert (bass) arrived collectively in 1999 and immediately after documented their debut recording, Monster Pickup truck Rally, in Seattle. Later on, Corey Dotson (acoustic guitar) was put into the lineup and Nick Millward, previously of Eightball Break, changed Lockert on bass. Decrease 48 released Ranchero, a storming recording of AC/DC-sized guitars and jokey redneck styles, in 2000.
