7 Seconds

Formed in the first ’80s, the hardcore punk group 7 Seconds continues to be one of the longest resided of any group in the first wave of Cali punk (developing in Reno, NV, and finally relocating to Sacramento), though frontman Kevin Secs has became the only real consistent member; adjustments during the middle-’80s transferred guitarist Bobby Adams, drummer Troy Mowat, and bassist Steve Youth (Secs’ sibling) in to the lineup. The group released many 7″ singles soon after developing, and Seconds agreed upon the band towards the Better Youngsters Company label by 1982. The three LPs released on BYO culminated in 7 Secs’ most authoritative record, Walk Together, Rock and roll Together. Agreed upon to Restless in the past due ’80s, 7 Secs delivered Soulforce Trend and Ourselves before shifting once again, to Headhunter. The music group released three albums for Headhunter, but authorized with their 1st main label, Epic, in 1995. The Music, the Message was 7 Mere seconds’ 1st Epic LP, released in 1995. By 1999’s All set, however, the music group was back for the indie front side, now releasing materials through the medial side 1 label. In middle-2000, they released Scream Genuine Loud, adopted five years later on by their 13th LP, Consider It Back, Consider It On, Consider It Over! Through the entire group’s career, Mere seconds has maintained many side tasks, including Drop Acidity, Five Ft Ten Ins, and Mustard. He also released many solo efforts beginning within the ’90s, including a 2002 break up acoustic recording on Asian Man alongside Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba.
