A longtime engineer, acoustic guitar technology and noisemaker, Wharton Tiers spent some time working using the cream from the East Coast’s alternative/noise community, including Glenn Branca, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur, Jr., Helmet, Unsane, Gumball, Quicksand, Shudder to believe and OPERATE ON. Over the amount of half a 10 years through the 1990s, he also done single recordings with a distinctive four-guitar ensemble; the recording, Brighter than Existence, premiered in 1996.
