After being the lead singer for Transvision Vamp, Wendy Adam made a decision to pursue a solo career. She had written a notice to Elvis Costello about her circumstance and was amazed when Costello had written an entire record for her. Today Ain’t enough time for Your Tears was documented with guitarist Neil Taylor, bassist Cass Lewis, and drummer Pete Thomas, and released in early 1993.
