Welt

Shaped in 1993, punk popsters Welt hail from Sacramento, CA. Despite several lineup changes over time, founding member and primary songwriter Jason Cooper (bass/vocals) offers remained a continuing fixture. Signing using the 3rd party (and today defunct) Dr. Fantasy label soon after Welt’s development, some singles were released, aswell as the full-lengths Better Times in 1995, Kicked in one’s teeth in 1996, and Broke Down in 1998, where time the music group relocated to Orange Region, CA. From the past due ’90s, Welt’s long term lineup became solidified, comprising the ever-present Cooper, guitarists Tobe Bean and Todd Harper, plus drummer Marc Harrismendy. 2001 noticed Welt’s first launch for the Better Youngsters Record Co., COMPLETELY NEW Dream .
