China-born, Vancouver-based singer/songwriter Looking makes heartfelt and melodic mature alternative pop. Delivered Looking Qu in 1983 in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China, Looking grew up hearing a variety of Chinese language and Western performers including Jonathan Lee, Emil Wakin Chau, Avril Lavigne, Michelle Branch, Sarah McLachlan, yet others. Nevertheless, it wasn’t until she still left home to review overseas in Canada in 2000 that she begun to explore her very own interest in performing.
