Vusi Khumalo

The son of the baritone saxophone player, Vusi Khumalo is among the foremost percussionists in South Africa. Most widely known for his playing on Paul Simon’s recording Graceland and globe tour, Khumalo offers toured with South African diva Miriam Makeba, with whom he performed in the Nelson Mandela tribute at London’s Wembley Stadium in 1998 and Royal Albert Hall in 1996. Khumalo’s debut single recording, Follow Your Fantasy, released in Dec 1998, featured efforts by guest music artists including Cuba’s Cucho Valdes and his music group, Irakere.
