Vida was a short-lived, later ’90s punk “supergroup” — comprising such SST Information alumni seeing that guitarist/vocalist Dez Cadena (ex-Black Flag), drummer George Hurley (ex-Minutemen and fIREHOSE), guitarist Tom Troccoli (ex-Tom Troccoli’s Pup), and bassist Costs Bowman (the last mentioned Vida’s only member devoid of done period previously within a SST-related clothing). The quartet — whose name originated from a 1989 live discharge from Cadena’s previous music group, DC3 — released a lone self-titled documenting in 1996 (with record cover art given by Meats Puppets’ head Curt Kirkwood). The group split shortly thereafter.
